In this paper we construct two group oriented ) , ( n k signature schemes, one based on exponentiation of primitive root and the other on elliptic curve. The security of schemes depends on difficulty of solving the discrete logarithm problem and integer factorization problem. The message is signed with the assistance of a trusted arbitrator. The trusted arbitrator is the deciding authority for the construction of the group secret key and the individual secret keys of the group members. We discussed how the proposed algorithms withstand various attacks and thus the schemes are well protected in security aspect.
